Apparently it has to be 12 degrees or less for bubbles to freeze and get really neat 'fern' patterns on them. The trouble for me was getting the bubble to last long enough for the pattern to show. They look like glass and are so fragile they often don't last long enough to get the pattern. I spent 2 days trying to get this to work and anxious to be able to try it again.
