Well, I guess I’m new. I\’m not sure just where these comments will land. The navigation on this site is most unusual. I’m retired from a business where I managed the development of many commercial web sites so one would think I could figure this one out.

I’ve been using mm film point & shoot cameras since I was 12 and was happy with what I got for results. Now, I’m not so happy for I’ve discovered what was really possible in photography as a fine art. I’m amazed by what others have done and I’ve set my sights on a higher skill level. I guess DSLRs have set me off an a path to photo nirvana. Mine is a Nikon D5000, a device chock full of wonderful features I’m still trying to get my head around. Best thing is that I don’t have to worry about film cost so I’m totally free to experiment. I hope to learn much from the folks on web sites such as this.
