I can only speak on behalf of the Nikon cameras and lenses I have owned @rhombus. The Nikon mount is the same so the lenses will ‘fit’ but depending on the vintage you will loose some or all functions such as auto-focus, metering etc. Best to enquire directly with your camera manufacturer as to what […]
Thanks Tom. Yes, I was expecting to lose some functions but as long as what I am shooting isn’t moving about, I should be OK.
Of course with the modern DSLR, I won’t have the split viewfinder screen to help with focusing (if you remember those).
Still awaiting response from Canon.
