I like this picture, Tiffany. It has pleasing contradictions or contrastss. The first thing I notice is the vertical pole that ignores the perspective of the scene beyond the arched entrance: from the wall and on into the picture everything gets smaller, but the pole resists that perspective. I then noticed the barred and arched entrance contrasts against the square opening above it. Then I see the small and scrawny pole in the left standing its ground next to the tall, elegant pole. Beyond the gate on the left the rising shape curves off to the left, but in the right the wall beyond the gate refuses to curve. I like it!
