  Hi Valery. I’m no still life expert but I like the light the way it is. The two lighter mushrooms attract my eye as a subject.

  Our fearless leader Rob says if a photo provokes a reaction it is a success, well I have a fatal allergy to mushrooms and this one makes my skin crawl so its a success.

  I also wouldn’t change anything here. The lighting looks well-controlled and adequate for the subject. I also like the composition, it looks pretty dynamic.

  I think it’s about spot on. I like to keep a little detail in the darks, but that’s probably a personal preference.
