Not sure about the image..I’ve tried different versions: color,B&W, but decided to post a sepia toned monochrome..
should it be a keeper or go straight to the bin?
Need your help!

Allows Edits? YesIt needs to be seen large Valery, then the textures are really clear. It has a very earthy feel, and the sepia seems like a good choice. I like it, not sure what I would change, although it is very dark.
It’ll be interesting to see what others say. -

Allows Edits? YesHmm… I am not sure the treatment works. At first I thought it was river rocks. But I think that might be due to the low exposure and sepia treatment. I’d play with it before I made a decision (definitely not straight to the bin)

Allows Edits? YesWow, that is much better!
I love the contrasting bits of brightness in the foreground & the back wall.
Question: when you do this style of picture, do you under-expose the image or do you start with a lower amount of available light in the room/on the subjects?

Allows Edits? YesNot straight to the bin. I would use dodging and burning, also increase the clarity and exposure.

thanks for asking
actually I control the lighting which hits the setup
I build so-called “shadow box” to prevent any non wanted light to reach the subject and then I choose the exposer

I would agree with the other comments. Definately a keeper, but some further dodge and burn needed to get the best out of it.
