Allows Edits? YesI like the moody result Valery. I think the green can be slightly de-saturated to suit the other muted colours in the frame. Also, you could add a bit more space on top, left and bottom. Not sure what you think 🙂

Allows Edits? Nothe wb is cooler than your usual style. i’m not sure that works, esp. with the green. the green looks oversaturated and unnatural.
the lighting and comp. don’t mesh well either. the garlic at the bottom is much brighter than the rest of the image, it doesn’t flow well with the darker items to the top and left. i think a better comp. would have been a single larger bowl of the garlic pieces and have them all together with the light hitting the front of the bowl & garlic and falling off towards the back. then have the whole garlic behind the bowl and to the left, touching the pieces, but clearly outside of the bowl. then have the mortar & pestal and greenery on the right.

Allows Edits? YesOh boy, these beat the living crap out of a lot of stuff I have seen entered. lol. To my mind, you are literally one of the best still-life photographers around – especially this style you have.

@valeryp Valery, I couldn’t agree with Rob more about your work! You are a still life master with your own distinctive style creating superb compositions and subtle lighting. I’m reminded of the Old Masters when I see what you do. It’s as if I’ve never seen garlic and rosemary in a kitchen before. To me, the best art shows us new ways of seeing, and that is your superpower. I would encourage you to enter a few competitions, I know you’ll be delighted with results. Take a deep breath and try! You have nothing to lose by trying and everything to gain with discovering confidence that you can compete with the big guys. Feel free to use Shark Tank expertise of other pros like Rob to let you know which shots of yours are worthy. As for me, I would be happy to learn from you how to see through your eyes!
