I wish I could spend more time with the Camera, but it doesn’t pay the bills. This does.

I am greeted at the door by my Vintage Yamaha 360, A work in progress, peering at me out of the dark, until I get the lights on.

First thing in the morning is to get some heat going by lighting my Home made Potbelly Stove.

This mornings project, putting a severely abused edger back into one piece.

I spend most days looking at scenes like this.

And have spent probably a 1/8 of my life cleaning carburetors like this one.

Well better stop screwing around with the Camera and get back to Work.

What a great idea Robert. So interesting, it feels like I’m walking through the shop with you as you explain what’s what. Don’t know why but for some reason I thought you had a gun shop?

I may have posted something about that previously. The wood shop is still in storage but I was making coustom stocks for vintage rifles and revolvers, as well as coustom gun cabinets. When I can afford to get into a bigger building I will revive that part of the business.

So it’s your turn Graham, this is a pictorial throw down you know.

Could be fun but I’ll have to think about what, if anything, is interesting about my daily morning routine. The excitement peaks when my toast pops up without setting off the smoke alarm! I’ll work on it though for sure. It’s a great idea.

Great pics Robert.  My oldest son has an auto shop.  He can and does repair anything.  Part of my morning routine is logging into LS after I read the news.  Always with two dogs at my feet.

I forgot to add:  I love your stove Robert.  There is something about using wood to heat that has always appealed to me.  We had a fireplace in Europe but plaintiff No. 4 would not let me use it because she did not want soot everywhere!

Fantastic, Robert.  The ‘abused edger’ photo is my favorite.   I’ve always wished I knew how to take engines apart and put them back together.    May be a retirement project for me…   I love images of machinery, and these are great.

Gears are Beautiful, eh?   Blue gears image from my downtown,  antique gears from upstate New York.
