Thank you Dahlia , this paint was going to end up in the waste and i never wanted it to go to some landfill so used it up doing this and the big canvas below , none went to waste 🙂

I was trying to put a little video together for you as i said i would , i tried but battery failed before i could finish this first part , all i can do i let this lot of paint dry before i can continue with it , not much more to do , paint the sides black and tidy a few bits , still debating if i should stick a few street arty stencils across it to break it up a little , not sure i like it as is for a background for some shoot that fits it 🙂

Still wet be a few days before this settles and can be worked on but this is how i left it tonight

Perfect idea for a video, mate. I’m surprised more artists don’t do stuff like this. You should turn the comments on so we can mess with the algorithm a bit 😉

Thanks Rob , i need better or just more light and more diffusion on any new lights i get , it looks very dark and muddy to me but i did shoot it in low light and at night.

The comments bit might be because i have this and some other small video clips set to UNLISTED on youtube , stuff i only share with Ls or certain people , other videos are public but odds and ends i keep just for specific sharing to show or explain something easier than writing about it sometimes.

I made this with the intention to add it to the larger canvas as the focal point with all the paint splashes shooting all over from behind this character, obliviously most of the black and the whites borders so that it makes one solid piece this is currently printed to A1 size now , i don’t have any decoupage medium at home so i can lay and bond it to the surface protect the paper from damage as well , not sure yet because as it is drying it starting to look a ok as a simple abstract on its own , so many things i can do i keep changing my mind haha , A big brush stroke Anarchy symbol ? , C N D peace logo ? ..it goes on and on 🙂

i am on that edge as well mate , sometimes the hard bit is knowing when to stop Rob but yeah i was looking at it drying and it is only needing a few touch ups with slightly smidgen of white and a pop more yellow in a couple of spaces , will stop painting for a week and start organising the work space , get my printer and Pc in because right now i am split between two rooms.

Just went with your thoughts mate , started this half hour ago glued up , time to let it dry and there is no guarantee it will dry wrinkle free , i don’t mind if its not working it is an old canvas i was going to bin and the paper is pence per sheet no biggy if it fails , will find out in morning haha. @admin-2

This is awesome, mate – I very much admire your spontaneity and ability to get these things done quickly.  It would take me three days to get to that point and I’d still mess it up. lol
