I look forward each year to the Lotus blooms at a local park. Seems early so we simply stopped by to check on the status of the growth and found 2 blooms and bunches of buds. iPhone raw image with default DNG settings converted to jpg.

I seldom do completely straight out of the camera. This one presented itself to me (metaphorically) and I zoomed way in to frame it. I’ll go back over the next couple of weeks with my camera and long zoom lens. I probably won’t wind up with anything radically different than in years past, but I’ll still love the “conversation” with the pond and its residents, a bit like meeting old friends.
