The image makes me want to know what would have happened there. Looks like the structures there were destroyed and nobody lives there anymore? Nice and calm location Bruce 🙂

Thanks Dahlia! It’s an abandoned mine at about 12,200 feet. The little hole to the right of the building is one of the mine portals; caved in, but the mine car tracks are still there. Buildings at this altitude usually get crushed over time, by the 20 to 30 feet of snow That falls every winter, or by the blasting wind. Very quiet and peaceful, except for the wind, and occasional Marmot and Pika barks. I was up there by myself, and had the disconcerting feeling the little critters were preparing an attack! Lol
