      This plant lies under a tree in my backyard catching the dappled light nicely. This is one of many seed pods which sprout from among the leaves.

      Very nice, Graham, it makes for a good b/w.

      Hi, Graham.  I’ve never seen a seed pod like this – fantastic.   B&W makes me feel like it’s in repose, waiting to burst forth in action.

        Hi Anne, I guess that’s exactly what it is in fact doing 🙂

        Thanks Beth. Printing (properly) is an area I have yet to dip my toe into. Seems like a lot of stuff to learn about image resizing, pixels counts, colour modes etc. I have all the info about it but I get so overwhelmed with everything there is to learn about this photography caper. That’s what I love most about it though 🙂 !

          i leave that to the professional printers.  we have so much humidity here that i’m afraid the fine art papers that i like will curl or mold before i can use them.

      I think it is really great you saw this and that you took advantage of the “grappled light”. Did you discover that the B&W version helped to emphasize the light?

      I am with you on the printing.  Yikes,. so much to learn in photography

      BTW I have been trying to send you a message at Graham Hart@ diripics , but that fails!.

        Hi Frank, yes it was the light which made me think B&W might work on this pic. Not sure what the answer is to the message problem, maybe admin can help?

          Hi Frank & Graham.

          I can reply to a previous message from Graham, but can’t create. anew message to either of you. I get the following message:

          @jasenkag
          – any ideas?

          Thanks

          David

            Can you please check again? I can’t replicate this issue, unfortunately majority of bbpress (forum) related issues are something I can’t help with since this plugin tends to be problematic.
