Thank you for the info Pat , a wonderful job he has done 2 thumbs up from me 🙂 , i had to leave my bike in for repair and was told 10 days as they were busy they called me today to say it would be ready on Tuesday nearly 4 weeks ago that was along 10 days lol

Well, @dahliaambrose , it is a spinoff of the putting padlocks on bridges, which happens lots of places including Paris. Here is the explanation for that – https://tinyurl.com/y9mpjc9d . Here in New Zealand, it now also happens in various places with gumboots, see the pic below, which is not mine, just one from the web. Gumboots in NZ, often called rubber boots elsewhere, or called wellington boots in the UK (after the Duke of Wellington, who wore them).

Some wall art with bicycles in Mackinac Island, Michigan. No cars are allowed on the island; the only transportation on the island is by bicycle, horse & buggy, or by foot. I’ve also added my favorite yard art shot with bicycles shot on a horse & buggy tour.

The guy with his hand under his chin is perfectly placed, Marty, I love it! The colours are balanced to perfectly complete the image. Will be very hard to beat for our Image of the Week! Sorry to report, that for me, the second image leaves the first in the dust!
