I’ve always wanted to photograph this building, but it’s quite awkward especially with the tower in front of it. I decided to have a go with this black-and-white style that I have been experimenting with and actually incorporate the tower into it and I think it worked out alright.  This black-and-white style is growing on me but I still have a few reservations about it. Let me know what you guys think or what you would’ve changed.

Well It’s a Building, looking like a alien traction beam is about to suck it up.

I think I was flashing back to a Doctor Who episode.

I can see why  you like this building. It looks really good in B&W. Could anything done about the distortion causing the structures leaning into center?

I have never used one or owned one but a tilt shift lens seems to be the goto for accuracy with architecture , if i can be done in post processing then forget what i said.

The building looks to be slightly tilting backwards … Sometimes natural ground is not level like these older building subsidence happens and no matter how you try something is never going to have every element straight or square

Yeah, fair spot @elkay – the converging verticals are extreme in this one and I know it’s a photography sin. The problem is with this specific building is that you’re restricted in where you can stand so I would probably need to get a tilt shift lens to straighten them and then still have to go to town in straightening it up with the Lightroom tools. But it’s a fair point.
