Allows Edits? YesReflections in the river. Cropped to square (obviously), f/13, 1/20 sec, lots of local adjustments to bring out details in the dark background and to emphasize the reflection in the water. I was drawn to the wood and its reflection but am not sure if it holds any general interest.

Allows Edits? YesSee, the difference in tones is why I would almost immediately go towards black and white for shots like this.

Allows Edits? YesThe uniformity of a color (green) and its dominance in the frame usually makes me think the image is not a good candidate for b&w. Wrong. More difference in tones than I expected.
Hmm. Tones are not what I saw in LR. This seems a bit flat. Even so, I see more attraction in the tones than I thought I would.

Allows Edits? YesHi Steve, maybe a tighter crop in vertical orientation could help the log stand out eliminating surrounding distractions. Not sure what you think. 🙂
