Sometimes I think I see things in the clouds, but perhaps it is just my imagination running amuck. I thought I saw old man winter reluctantly giving a last look at the landscape as spring was nestling in. Do you have any cloud photographs that suggest something abnormal?

Nice shot! I can imagine a face or two out of this formation, for sure!

I saw the face immediately. Nice capture.

@Chrissie, Did you? How cool that you could see it also. I thought I was going off my rocker a bit LOL. Tobie says he sees a couple of them, but I only see one. Well, it was a momentary reality that passed into oblivion within seconds. I was lucky to capture it at all.

@quasiphoto, Absolutely saw it, looking down at a man with a mustache and beard. Is that what you saw?

@Chrissie, Yes that is what I see also. What is weird is that not everyone sees the face, but I can’t tell you why. Maybe it has to do with having a good imagination, and a modicum of intelligent creativity. Our minds tend to search for patterns in things, so sometimes we see patterns that aren’t really there. I was just curious if that was happening to me in this one. Thanks for clearing that up! 🙂

                          Cheers, Frank

OK, maybe a cloud interpretation is up to interpretation, but what if you looked out the front door and saw something like this after hearing some distant thunder? What runs through your mind?

@Tersha, Yes, that was the overall impression this scene gave me also. My anxiety was tempered a bit when I realised it was just an approaching spring thunder storm. Caught in the last of the days fast fading sunlight, it evoked a feeling of impending catastrophe. Timing was everything in this photograph, a couple of min later, it was just another cloud.

                            Cheers,

@Tersha, Thanks for the participation, I was wondering if this would get any visionary responses.

The following photograph does not have any interpretative shapes but rather an overall optical illusion. While a really poor photograph of something when looked at originally, produced another effect totally when looked at from the flip side…

@JayCee, thanks for posting a photo, it is super cool! The depth of the cloud formation is enhanced by the full moon light. I an almost see the shape of a horse head under the moon. Really nice job, must have been spectacular to see in person.

I so enjoy watching the storms come in, and even more, the smell of the wet air. I imagine you guys at the coast get used to it, but it is a treat for those who just visit from time to time.

I actually live in the Mid Hudson Valley in NY. I’m lucky enough to be able to visit friends in Fla and you’re quite right it is a treat to be able to visit and get the occasional good shot. Here is a shot I took out the back window of my house last Sept.

Well John, now I am a little jealous. I live in the flat lands and have to drive for MILES just to see an elevation change, so this is a treat in itself. I always admired the blue hue of the mountains back east, miss that so much. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings has to be so relaxing to look at on a daily basis. You are a lucky man!

Clouds are inaccessible phenomenon for a person and symbolize the higher power. Previously it was thought that the clouds, likewise smoke and dust are left after divine carts passing through the sky. This association remains valid today.

You can try to figure out what the clouds mean. Dreams of clouds can have two main interpretations that depend on other circumstances in the dream. They may mean rise and religious feelings, and may indicate that the dreamer is obscured in his life by the influence of something or someone. Clouds also warn of the possibility of difficulties and dangers ahead.

If you dream that cloud is silver gray, it symbolizes the upcoming end of depression.

Big dark clouds predict danger and adversity for the dreamer; while small white clouds are a symbol of gaining peace and quiet after the previous trouble.

Relying on a person’s mood, cloud in a dream can be a symbol of doom and depression or religious connotations.

An important role in the dream plays the speed of clouds. The sky with fast moving stormy clouds means that the dreamer is prepared to demonstrate anger in the situation, which he/she doesn’t like. Heavy, slowly drifting clouds are a reflection of confusion, chaos and disorder.

If a person dreams that he/she is walking on clouds, it means that he/she actually has the ability and enough optimism to achieve a lot of joy in own life.

If you see the transition from light to dense clouds, dark storm clouds, it predicts failure and anguish. If you see clouds with rain, this is a sign of problems and prediction of bad health.

Dreaming of a small piece of bright blue sky between the clouds, or sun beams through the clouds, it is a sign of success after the difficulties.

If you see bright night sky among some clouds, it portends some fleeting joys and small achievements.

Seen in a dream bright clouds predict a favorable experience with the opposite sex. If you see sun breaking through the clouds, it means that you will experience easier financial times.

Black clouds, which are gathering, passing low over the ground, and among which bright lightning flashes, can promise the dreamer anger about the current situation.

Bluish-gray clouds in a dream suggest that the human soul needs to clarify some questions, which became anxious recently.

White clouds floating high in the blue sky portend clarification of difficulties and awareness of important ideas and contentment.

If you see the dream that clouds pass quickly, it indicates that problems will be solved soon; and if you see that heavy clouds are hanging over you, it portends long-lasting troubles.

Clouds in a dream reflect an emotional downpour in life. Toxic or poisonous clouds in a dream portend an unhealthy mental state, a disorder of the relationships and career.

The meaning of this dream also depends on the details and what is happening with clouds. Darkening clouds predict grief over a broken friendship; and light clouds floating through the sky, which change its shape, promise better times in family life and work.
