Allows Edits? YesCulture can be defined as the characteristics of a particular group of people, that is bound by language, religion, cuisine, social habits, dress, music, arts, etc.
The art of taking photos for the purpose of telling about the life of a particular group of people is called cultural photography.
Photos could include portraits of people in their traditional dress, common street scenes, festivals or rituals, events or anything that would tell or show something about a particular culture.
Would love to see some photos of culture from around the world 🙂

Allows Edits? YesBritish culture invariably involves going to the pub. Births, deaths, marriages, birthdays, anniversaries, starting new jobs, ending old jobs, coming home, going away, being convicted, being absolved, having an awesome day or a rubbish one, landing a great deal or losing one, it being the start of the week, the end of the week, hump day or the weekend, passing exams or failing them, Christmas, new year, every bank holiday going and the summer solstice, all, inevitably, lead to the pub;
This is more street a snap than anything… but making the most of someone else’s art… Kurdish street scene in Sulaymaniyah;
Gulf Arabs; modern day hawk training – click to flick (shot on blackberry – low res only)
Feeding the birds, Blue Mosque, Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan

Great, and varied selection of images Chris. Hope guarding the hawk wasn’t the primary duty that day 😉 🙂

Here’s some of my choices for Culture…
Scottish Bagpipes (Dunoon Grammar School Pipe Band):
England (Red phone booth and mailbox [going the way of the dodo bird]):
Indonesia travel/transport (although in a lot of other places as well):
Indonesia – caged rooster/cock (cock fighting was legal at that time):
