I searched and searched for Dragons but none were to be found

    Not by the lake

    Not by the creek

    Nor river or pond.

But to the legends I should have gone.

I should have looked on mountain high in the forest deep.

For that’s where Dragons dwell and creep.

A powerful way to capture this fragile creature, it looks like a superhero thanks to this lighting!

Thanks Jasenka, I was really happy with how this turned out, it was worth every bit the back pain crouching and waiting for this bug to return to his perch to get this perspective with the dark forest behind, the animal initially flew off but he kept returning to this branch.

Well done Robert.  I love the prose along with the pic.

The words go well with the image. Agree with Jasenka’s comment. Great image and lighting Robert 🙂

Wow. What a great shot. “Otherworldly” comes to mind.

I know what it is but my mind still sees an alien creature from Ridley Scott’s workshop studios. This is a gob-smackingly brilliant shot Robert. Love everything about it!
