Giant Kingfisher – Light Stalking

  I was telling my friend that I have seen no kingfishers at our local botanical gardens as we were walking one of its trails this morning. A few minutes later we decided to quickly check the bird hide before leaving – there was no bird in sight earlier. What do you know! We got this pleasant surprise! The cherry on the cake: it eventually came closer and perched about 20m from us!
  
  I knew that it was relaxing and was not going to move soon so this particular shot was taken at only 1/320s in favour of 160 ISO.
