I did a lot of processing on this one. Maybe too much?

Allows Edits? YesHi Lenny, I like the bluish tone here and I don’t think the image is overly processed. The composition is good too, the only problem is lighting because the face looks too dark compared with the rest of her body.

Valery and Jasenka, I see what you are talking about. The face is just a black blob. I lifted the shadows a bit but still want to keep the silhouette-ish look. What do you think?

Lenny
If there are some highlights on her face I’d emphasize them just a tad still keeping the silhouette

Hi Ken, thanks for the comment. Highlighting the front of the subject is not a technique would have thought of for a silhouette. I have learned a ton of new and better processing technique’s since I did this so I am going to process it again and see what it looks like. I can’t give your idea a try because I sold the house.

I’m not a portrait/person photographer but due to the harsh background lighting, I would have used a small, adjustable light panel with a CTO (color temp orange) filter to gently highlight the front of your subject. Give it a shot!

Allows Edits? YesI think it works nicely, with the main caveat being that the skin tones should be roughly the same across all of the skin (not dark face). But solid shot.

This is a re-do. I still want to keep some of the anonymity of the subject so the face may be too light. I played with some of the new stuff in Lightroom. What do you guys think?

Hi Lenny
personally I preferred the second version- the lighting looks more natural…

I agree Valery, and this one is not really a silhouette.

Allows Edits? YesYeah I would evenly darken the skin rather than light it in that case.

I like the one showing just a bit of the face. Too much detail on the face loses some of the mystery.
