  Howdy Howdy. I’m David. In my late teens and early 20s before joining the Army, I was a professional at a St. Louis studio, but since then I haven’t done any serious photography. I’m about to buy my first DSLR, and try to get back into serious side of photography. Since 35mm film is no longer used, and 30 years have elapsed, I am reviewing, and learning all over again. When I can afford to get a decent DSLR (Probably going to get the Nikon D750) I hope to start entering contests, mostly landscape and wildlife, since my heart is here in rural Texas.

  @wdporter69 Hi there mate! Oh jeez, I once had a D759 in my hands, and wow… It felt so great to shoot with it, please keep us posted in your decision! Right now is quite a good time for investing in such a nice piece of gear.

  Nikon has $300 off on the D780, so…..I just ordered my D780 should get it next week, and I’ll be off and running
