I got to see the Wolf Supermoon this week. This particular shot really sang to me as the colors of the day faded into night.

Allows Edits? YesWell done. I’m never able to get the foreground branches exposed enough to make them visible without introducing a ton of digital noise.

Thanks @LightandShadow. The timing and the camera settings just happened to be right in that moment. Of course, there were many over/under exposed clicks before and after.

Allows Edits? YesYeah, it certainly has that feel about it. And getting images with any feeling at all is an incredibly difficult thing to do. So well done!

Allows Edits? YesThis is stunning. Please can I ask what kit and settings you used? I got very lucky with my moon shot (lol) earlier this month but normally I can never capture it well.

Hi Ellie – this was shot with a tripod using my Canon and 100-400mm lens. The shutter speed was 1/250 and the aperture was 6.3.
