I like the concept however from the top of the head it looks like he is holding a hairball since you really don’t see anything else of the baby. I would try a view from the top (front) of the baby where it shows the babies face and limbs obscuring the dads hands.

I think it’s a very nice image with a unique point of view… except for the large, garish and distracting muti-colored watermark in a otherwise delicate and tasteful composition. I don’t think it looks like a hairball at all and if you include the rest of the baby you will have…. just another baby picture.

I like the well manicured finger nails. Would have like to see a little bit of the baby’s features but I think it is an interesting photo.

I would experiment with bringing out the clarity more in the hair. I actually didn’t even notice your watermark at first! So don’t worry about it.

Careful with the hair. IMHO, much more clarity will change feeling of the shot. Water marks in the center of fotos are a pet peeve of mine. Maybe not justified but I don’t like a price sticker in the middle of the lens for a pair of sunglasses either.

I’m all for keeping this natural and if you play around with clarity of the hair too much it will take away from the baby’s natural look. If anything, I would take more of this theme and have Dad move his fingers through and over your son’s head. Just a thought. Congrats! These little guys change our lives and give us plenty of photo ops!

The hands are fine but I would like to see more of the baby

                        Hi, Thanks for sharing.

Nice idea but the angle, composition could be better. Would have shown a bit more of the face.

                        Also, I don’t like the brown/black contrast.

                        Cheers
