In the Freshly Fallen Snow

So having been nearly totally off grid the last few days I did break out the camera a couple times and did some edits in LR on the tablet. Overlooking Shoshone Pass near Thermopolis Wy.

Gorgeous photo and really interesting full ground for a landscape – is that cloud front in the distance? Something you guys need to worry about? If I saw that in these parts, I’d be tying down all the loose stuff in the yard.

Thanks Rob @admin-2, and you only have to worry if you’re up there, that’s actually high altitude polar winds blowing snow off of the high ridges of South Pass.

There is something so peaceful in looking out and seeing just about to the ends of the earth. Here on the east coast, never get to see so much land in a glance.

I Agree, the only other place on earth I’ve seen Views like this is in Alaska,  but as brutal as winters can be here in Wyoming, that’s another Story there.
