This is a building under construction. The lattice-like objects are temporary supports for the concrete floors and will be removed once the concrete has set.

The building is probably much more interesting now than it will be when it’s done. Where is the reflection coming from Click?

The reflection is coming from Photoshop. There is no physical reflection, but I used Photoshop to create mirror images flipped horizontally and vertically and pieced them together.

Preston, it was just the right time and place. The Ice started melting, just enough to form a film of water over the ice and no wind. The swan completed the picture. (It was great to see the Swan “walk” on this slippery ice.)

Thanks Eric. Had to go back to the original images to look closer. The pole doesn’t actually hit the water in the frame you see (I have a couple of other shots of this spot) thus no reflection visible. The stop sign is very high up in this image as it is low tide.

      Gum-tree Reflections

I was unaware that this weekend challenge wad reflections. A group of local photographers went out and some of them were looking for opportunities for photographing reflections. Unfortunately the wind was not cooperating and we were only able to find one spot where the water was still enough for reflections.
