        “Akinetoposia”- its a deficiency in the ability to see movement progress in a normal fashion. I have tried to describe it in this photo and capture the dancer’s concentration and series of movement.

            The sense of sight is complex. The brain has many visual centres. The area designated for movement is quite distinct from that of tone and colour. For those who are unable to see movement, nothing really replaces it. Nevertheless, we can represent movement in our photographs in many ways. This is one of them, Rebecca. Three cheers for you.
