On Kangaroo Island there’s a place called Little Sahara. While driving through the bush covered country (at least that part which wasn’t burnt to a cinder in the wild bushfires earlier this year), a monstrous sand dune appears out of nowhere. We were told at the entry kiosk that the dunes extend for 5 kms toward the southern ocean. The colour seen here is exactly as it looked on the day.

Thanks Patrick. Got a few shots from this place which I’ll eventually post and all about colour and flow.

I really like this Graham, lovely curves and a minimalist feel.

Thanks Diane. Its hard not to go for minimalism in the middle of sand dunes. What you don’t see is the hundred or so school kids trekking over the next dune with their rented toboggans heading for the bigger dunes. Too far for me to walk and climb though.
