  very nice! it’s just a little soft and shaky at full size, but if it was anywhere near as windy for you as it was where i live then the tripod wasn’t the issue. you’ve captured some beautiful colors and tones.

    Thanks Beth! It wasn’t all that windy here, just COLD! lol
    
    I was using a 150-600 zoom, so it was a bit heavy. I should have used the feature that keeps the mirror up; that may have helped. But, all in all, it’s not too bad.

      i chickened out like everyone else. shot it back in 2015, but it was below freezing with sustained wind speeds of 25+. nope.
