Fine Art Photography is not About the Camera or Technique — It’s About Something Much Deeper.
Found this good watch thought it was worth sharing.

Allows Edits? YesI should watch the whole video before commenting, but the part I have watched at the beginning seems very familiar. There are a number of YouTubers who emphasize the importance of emotional basis for their own photography and encouraging others to do the same. They always include claims about the equipment’s being less important than composition and the emotion that produces the images (all the while mounting Hasselblads on tripods that cost more than my most expensive lens).
On the rare occasions I have been asked to speak in public about my own photography, I have made claims that the emotion you allow yourself to feel at the moment you click the shutter, it will shine through in the image almost by magic. That’s a bit of an exaggeration but it serves a purpose.
Emotion without craft? Nope. Emotion guiding craft and giving permission to follow those feelings? Yep–though it takes a lot of experience to respond in the setting to get the raw materials to express that feeling as you final image is produced.
I suspect Osner makes similar points. I just had to get my 2 cents worth in response to his lead-in to the full hour.

Just to add , When i post anything that comes from youtube.
Especially long watch stuff i always do it in the hope that if anyone watches it try to do so on anything bigger than your phones , I don’t believe you get the same experience on a phone , everything is too small to be appreciated in the way intended , I watch stuff like this when i have done what needs done during the day and when i sit down to relax in the evening ( when i have time to absorb what i am about to watch ) this is when i watch.
I personally watch them on my TV or 27 inch monitors and find i get more enjoyment from it.

Allows Edits? YesTotally agreed about that. I doom scroll on Instagram and take photos and that’s about the only thing I ever do on my phone as I find the rest of it way too fiddly..

I don’t why but when i watch on tv or bigger than a phone i feel like i am watching a movie of sorts on the phone it’s like i am watching an ad with so much stuff crammed into that little screen size , Tablets are prob ok like IPad i lots that use them for netflix series ( another thing i don’t use Netflix )
