Starting Part II because the thread was getting very long and this being Week 36, 16 weeks to go for a full year. So this thread won’t be as long 🙂

Week 36:

Pulled out some photos from my Canon 6d days. All randomly picked. The tractor shots are a sequence since I did pull in behind it, once I got on the road.

This is under the Thousand Islands Bridge, which spans the St. Lawrence River and must be crossed to enter Canada.

Slowed the shutter speed while sitting in my driveway.

The tractor as it drove by and after I was following it.

I have another photo of him waving at me. In the spring, I see this dude several times, my thought is he’s a manure man for hire and services several farms 😀

Still loving the series mate, keep them coming. Although I am glad you moved to a new thread as you’re right about that old one getting long and taking quite a while to load now. It actually made me think about changing the settings to how many posts can be on a single page of a thread and at what point we need to start tabulating each thread.

I’m fortunate to have a high speed connection. Robert pointed out his wait time for the Part 1 and suggested the Part 2. So yeah, for those with a slower connection, limiting posts is a great fix.

Week 37:

My dread is I begin to repost photos I already posted, LOL.  I didn’t scan Part 1 to check like I have in the past. So, hopefully these are all new to view.

As I was in traffic downtown, I saw this lady sit and had the camera aimed, while keeping an eye on the car in front of me. Soon as I figured I framed her between the parked cars… click. Didn’t realize she was looking right at me, until I got home a viewed the photo.

A barn I often drive by as I take a back road home.

Some town workers doing whatever they were doing. Shot a little to early but got them both.

I think the caption on that last one should be “You dropped it dude, I’m not going after it”.

Mid-week 37:

Three people I drove by, each unique in their own way. A trucker looking at me as we pass. A town worker repairing a street light in town. A cell phone conversation while smoking a cigarette. Canon 6d, at this time in my life.

Week 38:

Simple theme for this weeks photos.

This is what happens when for some strange reason people just have to see if it fits, and get their head caught in the fence, I may not believe in evolution as Darwin did, but the evolution of stupidity is undeniable . Just ask any first responder.

I was recently told by a professor type that to appreciate street photography, you had to want to stick your nose into other people’s business. Practice some voyerism, and figure out their stories, or at least make one up. I can do that last part and base it on life experience.

LOL! He’s blocking it but there was a dog on the other side of the guard rail. Unfortunately when I snapped the shot, the dog couldn’t be seen.

Mid-week 38.

Can’t sleep so… continuing with the theme.

Oh my, the dreaded Ural, the Yugo of motorcycles. The side car was to carry spare parts.

I worked with the rider. The bike was eventually sold and the money used in buying a Harley.

Week 39:

Something different. Color 🙂 Some years ago I took these shots as I drove home. Seeing a turkey along the side of the road ahead of me, I switched the X-T3 to fully automatic (now it’s an assault camera). So while driving and maximizing my peripheral vision, kept the turkey in the frame as I drove by it.

15 total shots, posting 8 today and the rest on Wednesday.

Week 41:

I’ve been using my Nikon D200 for the past few weeks for this project. Like holding a brick perfectly designed for my hand 🙂

This first shot had a cool flare and starred out the sun well, considering how it was positioned in the photo.

This next shot was of a painted barn some miles from where I live. Mostly cloudy day but a break in the clouds had the bark fully illuminated, while the field remain in mostly shadow.

And a classic truck that I drove by.

The shot with the flare is really good, the other two are good too, but top one is my fav.
