Hello,
I’m new to the group and hoping to learn from the wisdom of the photographers here. I am a hobbyist and started taking photos of my daughter’s sport several years ago. I really didn’t take pics of anything else. Now that I’m a partial empty nester I’m ready to learn more and take photos of different things. I’ve always been attracted to photography since watching my grandfather develop family photos in his basement. I’ve had a few false starts with it over the years. When I started taking photos of my daughter’s sport, it evolved into volunteering my time taking action shots of the whole team. I initially just fumbled my way through, learning by trial and error. However, I’m taking some classes now to help me grow. I’ve started taking photo walks and find it to be very serene and nurturing to my soul.
