Newbie – Light Stalking

  New member! Have been receiving Light Stalking newsletters for some time and thoroughly enjoyed the tips. After the ‘interesting’ 2020 we have all had I decided to reignite my passion for photography and saw the weekly challenge created by Light Stalking and thought it would be perfect for me! I am a keen amateur having no interest in wanting to go professional, it’s purely for my own personal growth. I retired 5 years ago and was wanting to make sure I was doing something which would stimulate me. I’ve always enjoyed photography, there’s no pictorial evidence I’ve been anywhere on holiday! I did a year long photography course which certainly helped me learn more about my DSLR (I avoid the word ‘master as I am a long way from that!). It also introduced me to some wonderful like minded friends. Talking and sharing with other photography enthusiasts is enlightening! I’ll show my husband an image which I’m rather proud of and I’ll get back ‘nice picture’ – I really hate the word ‘nice’! Anyway I am really looking forward to sharing with this community and having discussions about images. Thanks so much! Alison

    Thanks Dahlia! Looking forward to talking to people who share a similar passion. I love landscape photography and dabble with macro. Plan on playing more with long exposure landscapes. 😊
