Newbie here, SharonF

Hi, my name is SharonF and I recently joined Light Stalking specifically to use the Shark Tank. I’ve had a camera since I was a teenager, but only got seriously into photography after I retired.

I started up a Critique group about 5 years ago, and at the beginning of covid, I started up a Creative Workshop group, both by invitation, limit 6 and 7 people respectively, incl myself. Both have taught me a lot; how else can I learn unless my images are critiqued by others, right?

So I’ve critiqued a couple of images in the Shark Tank, and have also submitted one image, an image that had potential but I was at a loss for ideas.  The folks in the ST helped me immensely, and I posted a re-worked version.

I’ve also read a really great article about Geometry in Photography, by Dahlia, and I see there are more interesting articles to read.

This will be a lot of fun!
