  I hail from the US, now living in the middle of the country in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I have belonged to a very active photo club here for 7 years. Totally a hobbyist. A retirement goal was to get better than point-and-shoot. I have gotten way beyond that level. Nowhere near even semi-pro pro but I do well in local competitions. I photograph anything but people – definitely no portraits and not even candids. I pass on astrophotography as well. Nature and landscapes are my fave and I enjoy night photography too. I shoot with a Nikon Z6ii and a decent assortment of lenses. 24-70 is my go-to, and 28-400 is my travel lens. I also use my iPhone a lot. I also participate in 52Frames online. The fact that I am ‘up here’ and you all are ‘down there’ should make for some interesting seasonal type challenges.
