This is a really strong capture.
The composition is fantastic ,that walkway is a perfect leading line that draws you right into the frame. The long exposure has created a beautiful, dreamlike quality in both the water and the sky.
I definitely think it’s worth spending more time on. My only thought for a different direction would be to lean into the color contrast. Maybe subtly enhance the cool blues of the water and sky while bringing a little warmth and texture back into the wooden walkway to create a stronger point of separation. But honestly, it’s a killer shot mate as it is. Great eye.
Or Mono Black and white with all the nice textures that can be seen on the water and clouds.

Allows Edits? YesYeah, thanks mate. Looking at it on the big screen and I 100% agree with you. These are the dangers of editing on a phone. I’m gonna take another look at the walkway and the white water and see what I can do about the colour cast. I might even post a black-and-white version!

I like it a lot .. a Study in Blue! Definitely worth working on, maybe some of Patricks suggestions, or maybe a different crop?

Allows Edits? YesThanks, Tersha – yeah I’ll dig back into it with those suggestions. There’s not much left to crop except a little bit of full ground which is totally blue water. I usually don’t go for the square crop but this was one of those rare instances.
