  Embracing negative space in composition might feel overwhelming, challenging and even frustrating. How can a story be told from the angle of nothingness? How can empty spaces enhance the narrative of a spontaneous photograph taken on an idle walk? Beyond guaranteeing balance between blank and solid in a frame, there’s a notorious sense of motion and cadence within this photographic duality.
  
  For the 795th weekly challenge, Diane urged us to pursue negative space for achieving a minimalist urban composition. From the various images shared during that time-frame, the following stood out from the crowd due its surreal nature.
  
  The sepia tones in this shot takes all the drama to the next level; not to mention the clean juxtaposition we get from the polished surface on the building’s wall and the heavy clouds on the back.

    Hey, thanks. We drove by the Superdome on our way from the airport, and when I saw it, I knew that somehow, I had to get back to photograph it. At that point…I knew I was legit hooked.
