Allows Edits? YesAiming to capture the everyday life demands high amounts of attention to the mixed surroundings going on all at once. The tight framing of the subject triggers a claustrophobic feel, and it gets wilder as we start paying more attention to the symmetric shatter in the glass. Everything comes together as the scene wraps itself in the mist of the early morning surrounding the deck.

Examples like this show how fruitful photography is amidst the generative content realm of the web, so thanks Diane for sharing this magnificent shot with us! It do feels odd to award our challenge organiser @tersha but this shot deserves all the praise we can give.

Allows Edits? YesThank you so much Federico! I don’t take many photos with people in them, and this is an old one, and I’ve always liked it. Glad you did too! 🙂

Allows Edits? YesI always love seeing Federico’s perspective with these selections. It always makes me think a lot deeper about the photos and why he is responding the way he does.
And with that, I think this is a great shot to choose for the exact reason he said. Well done, Tersha.

Allows Edits? YesI think it’s his academic background, he approaches visuals, but much more philosophical level than I ever did. Great to have the alternative viewpoint.
