This is a 13 image focus stack of a fungi that is about 1cm wide. It comes out overnight after a rain and dies with the sunrise. Lifespan less than 24 hours.

The X-T3 has focus bracketing that I’ve not bothered to use until now.  Stacking and PP in PS with RAW processing in Iridient X-transformer and LR. Fairly satisfied with the results but open to critiques.

I found your process really interesting Rob, and the end result is good. I can’t find fault, or suggest any improvement.

Thanks Diane. Lots to learn in the macro realm. My journey is just starting.

Wow Rob that is an awesome shot, can’t fault it. I think the composition and lighting etc: is perfect.
