POTW winning photograph by David Chesterfield.

I mean seriously… What is there to say?

How could I not give this the POTW award?

      Great work, David!

I do have a runnerup, which I will post a link below. It’s much different from David’s shot. However, it speaks to me.

Pat Garrett created the runnerup image. It’s a quiet winter scene titled, “Have a Seat.” I live in a wintery climate, and this photo perfectly captures the feeling that wintery weather creates about mid-season when one is desperately thinking of spring and summer.

On top of that, the photograph captures some exquisite lighting that highlights texture, tone, and shape without blowing out detail on either the highlight or shadow side. It’s a great photo, Pat.

This truly is an exceptional image. Far off the scale on the wow factor. Congrats.

A very well deserved runner up choice as well. I’ve sat and enjoyed Pat’s “Have a Seat” for many minutes. Congratulations Pat.

Fantastic shot David. Could be a promotional image for a theatre show…Priscilla In The City’. I wouldn’t be upset if it had showing times and ticket prices printed on it! Great work and an obvious choice by Kent.

Saw your pic Pat and I love the light and sense of wetness it oozes, particularly given the fire storm from hell we’ve just been through here in Oz.

For ‘Wow’ factor, this has it in spades, David.ย  The processing is not immediately so evident, but is certainly there and well considered,ย  to enhance the image.ย  Very well done!

Oops, Pat, I must have had a ‘Senior Moment’ and missed your mention, when I commented above. Yours, is very well seen image, very well portrayed. Really like.
