    You’re so right rob , this little one was still working things out 🙂 , A young lad from the area asked if i could take a picture of his new pup so spent 20 mins on the field near the house and then made him a bunch of A3 prints his little eyes lit up when i brought them round to his house which made it all the more worthwhile , gets me some practice as well .. It’s nice to just do something because you can and everyone’s a winner.

  I had a similar experience with two of my young neighbours. They were delighted with their young pup’s portrait. Made me feel good too to think that the picture will likely stay with them a long long time and remind them of their childhood and puppy.

    This is what i hope for this lad and his pup , may they have many more memories mate.
    
    I love all animals but admit to having a BIG FLUFFY SOFT SPOT for the K9’s of this world.

  These are really cool Patrick. I imagine they’re going to be put on a wall or at least they should be. It’s also interesting that you went with black-and-white hair. It’s not what I would’ve normally associated with pet photography but it actually works really really well. Nice series..

    Thank you Rob , I did give him color images as the main output but i threw a about 4 mono shots in with them , He loved the mono when he see them ..He has them in frames and behind glass on the wall , Good he gets something to look at when the little dog gets older 🙂
