The intent here is to market it to individuals and businesses who have shown interest in displaying the riverfront here in Quincy, IL  USA.

I like this a lot, Greg, however I think that the crop at the very apex of the (spire?) on the right is too severe.  I would like to see more at the top.

@glegg  I pretty much agree with Mistyisle, I think we need more space at the top.

I agree with you both. Hacking off the last few inches of the cupola is not good. It’s time to figure out how to extend the canvas in PS. Looks like a challenge, as I’m thinking I’ll have to recreate a lot of support wires and where they go. Perhaps I’ll wait until I can get down to the river again on a good sunset evening and retake it with composition in mind (I was dodging parking lot traffic as I took this). Thanks to both of you.

Love this image and the silhouetted lines and shapes. I agree with the above comments about having more space on top. Also you could try to very slightly bring out details in the foreground if it is an interesting one 🙂

Thanks, Dahlia. The foreground contains a teen-age boy who I was trying not to brighten so he would appear. But I will experiment with a bit of judicious lightening, avoiding the boy. Or, maybe the boy would be just fine — I didn’t think of that possibility.
