Hmm. looks a bit over sharpened when you look at it on a big screen. Anyways…

Yeah, there were a lot of cool things at the bottom of that pool. I want to go over and have a swim to take a good look. Plus I think it would be possible to show it in a shot like this. Just gotta deal with some reflection issues, but should be easy enough.

crop a little off of the sky, just below the curved cloud at the top center.  that way the curve around the rock pool and the entire sky go towards the same spot.

Hi Rob, I like the image as it is. The only thing that I think you can change is to straighten the horizon. It is a bit tilted towards the left 🙂

Sydney really is a wonderful place.

Down on the left, is the pool at the top of this thread.

About 700m off shore, you can see a pod of migrating whales.

I like the subject and, in general, the image. For me, it also demonstrates the limitations of phone photography. The rocks below the surface and the reflections off the water: you would likely have snapped on your circular polarizer to deal with them. Adjust the exposure to deal? Can be done but is never as easy to do. The slider just doesn’t seem to work very well. Lens distortion? Not easily dealt with. Editing? I’m having a lot of difficulty getting LR (whether mobile or desktop) to render the image as easily as it does with my Canon.

The image itself is nice. The curve is nice but it is a bit more centered than I would like. As it is, the curve leads my eye to what, in this image, seems to be presented as 2nd fiddle–that rock face vs. the sky and water. Don’t know if it was possible to take a couple of steps to the right, reduce the amount of water on the right but I might have found something more (and less) there than I do here. I’d likely go for a bit more contrast in the sky, though I may have a tendency to overcook that. It’s a good scene but difficult to present. Maybe I just like a bit more drama in my sense of peacefulness.
