Small Woodland Waterfall

I found this little waterfall last year and went for a look at it today for a future date ( more water ) and better light this was early afternoon today , but while there i took this image on my little bridge camera any feedback you may have is welcome as always.

I can see it!

Beautiful spot. Looks just like here in the coast range of Oregon. One minor thing I’d do is remove the crescent moon shaped highlight bottom center. And probably the smaller squiggles near it as well. And burn in the reflection highlight lower right in front of the narrow rock to darken it just a tad. Okay. Three things. 🙂

Thank you so much for the tips mate , I had very little room to manoeuvre from the spot i was standing when i shot the image it was only after i seen how much light was bouncing of the surface , I plan to revisit this spot under better conditions 🙂

Definitely a location to revisit. Composition and chosen POV is spot on in my opinion. Little ticky tack stuff sometimes just seem to stand out to me. And many times I miss seeing them in my own photos.

Photography is art and art is subjective so I don’t often comment on these things. The reason why I rarely take part in the shark tank.

I tried to tidy up the first image but could only get it so far and i did give the colour a little boost and i added another image from another position see what you think.
