Welcome to the board Karlton.

Solid high key treatment of a still life. We have a few folks on here who like to go the low-key lighting for these types of shots so it’s nice to see this Change. I think the lighting is fine so I’ll concentrate on talking about composition because the dark lime at the front keeps pulling my eye in a little more than I think you want it to because it is slightly higher contrast and feels slightly balanced as if it should be pushed back in the scene a little more. I realise you were going for the tight crop and there’s not much I would change about that other than the placement of that particular fruit (I think it’s a lime?)  other than that quite like this one and that means it’s about lunchtime for me. lol

Thanks very much. In fact, the green fruit is a green mandarina, not a lime … not that it matters lol. Hoping people will like it as a print for the kitchen. Hey Rob, one thing I would mention, is that the website is very slow at initial loading. Not sure if its the content, coding or the hosting service, but generally takes 5 seconds or more to load. Just FYI

@karltongkemerait yeah, thanks for letting me know but it’s a problem that we’ve been dealing with for about 14 years now. I have had computer science PhD’s look at this site and still it loads when it loads. You come to love it..  I promise. Honestly.. 😉
