I guess I don’t know how to post my photo directly from Flickr and have it show as an image and not a link. I finally just uploaded the image from my computer. Can someone help me? Thanks! Michael

There used to be specific instructions for this but I haven’t been able to find them. Here’s what I did: go to your Flickr photo, click the share and Embed option. Size the photo for Large 1025 x ?, copy the link that shows and then paste it into the dialog box here.

I have also done something similar with my Smugmug account by copying the link and pasting it (no Embed option). Both seem to work. In both cases, you won’t see the actual photo until after you have clicked on Submit.

Hope this helps and hope it works. I haven’t found an easy way to completely delete a post if something goes wrong.

Gorgeous and very rich color. I don’t usually think of Southern Ohio as having these sorts of hills, but it is on the border with West Virginia and Kentucky.

Thanks, Steve for your help and your comments on my image. As far as southern Ohio goes, there are lots and lots of hills, cliffs, caves, etc. in southern Ohio. This part of the state is just south of where the last glaciation ended, so the area was not ground down flat by the glacier as it is further to the north. Southern Ohio is amazingly beautiful. To share the embed link from Flickr like Steve has mentioned, you will see a right turn arrow  to the right side of the photo (bottom right) you wish to share. It will show “Share Photo” when you hover over it. Click on that arrow. A window should open with the embed code. Copy and paste it here. The image should appear. Hope this helps 🙂
