I think i get some of that from my brother ,
Me and him sat watching a horror movie one night when we were kids , and it was one of those ones that made you say things like i am not going up the stairs until someone turns the light on , every creak and crack sound seemed magnified .. After the movie had finished and i was heading to bed still thinking about the scary film , i was in my room and had to open a built in closet door and secretly my brother had placed a tall Mop with the stringy bits like hair at the top with a false face on it and had also put a coat on it … BLEEP … M E … I would not trust him again for weeks lol, He was a master at doing such stupid yet funny things 🙂
You could be sitting watching something and suddenly a pair of hands would come from under the wooden frame of the sofa and they would grab your ankles , talk about shock and awe

I went to collect the dog from his owners and they had just put these up for the kids in the street and their own , it was like a gold mine haha and i only got half of what i could see , Thank you Dahlia 🙂

i made it , done the design in clip studio paint , print it using plain paper ( so i have no glare or glossy reflections on it ) , cut it out so i just have the dark shape i might need to tape some stiff rigid card to the back to help it hold shape , then project the shadow with a torch.
I need a new torch i broke my good one which allowed for varying strengths of beam and it give a more focused ( sharper shadow ) with its pencil like beam.
The good thing about shapes there is so many that most people would recognise and so easy to source it becomes limitless and the only restrictor is finding a large enough surface to get to fit them on , i have a few from robin hood that would look good as a group of shadows but can’t find the right wall big enough yet to have them all life size , the stories one could make is very exciting 🙂
