I like stacks of stuff. These were on our boardwalk waiting to be picked up after an event.

Allows Edits? YesHI Lenny. Interesting stuff.
1st: Such a front capture deserves totally flat image i.e. shot for totally vertical and horizontal lines.
2nd: I’d try different angle to make it more abstract – cut part of reality. Example (it’s not the best one angle because your image is shot from front; something like this but shot from different place):

Allows Edits? YesThis looks really neat in black and white! There’s also some sort of ceremonial vibe to it which makes it puzzling.
Peter’s suggestion is interesting but I prefer the original image because of the sky & clouds.
I would maybe just straighten the horizontals.

Allows Edits? YesI like this photo Lenny. The only thing that bothers me is the slanting foreground lines. Maybe try the transform tool to get it straight 🙂

Allows Edits? YesHi Lenny!
Great shot! I really love the crop @peternowak suggested.
The chairs against the texture of the clouds is very pleasing. I would suggest taking advantage of the clouds in the background and work to make them a more prominent part of the image. That’s just my opinion though, I really love moody looking skies 🙂
Possibly crop out a little bit more of the bottom of the image. I find seeing a small portion of the sidewalk a little distracting.
Maybe something like this? Keep up the great work, love it!

Hey, thanks for looking and commenting!
Peter, I enjoy looking at your abstract shots but it not my mug of beer, to speak.
Jasneka, Dahlia and Deidra, There are two different sets of parallel horizontal lines at different angles in this. I had straightened the seawall and horizon in Lightroom but did not know it is possible to correct 2 different sets of lines so I learned something new and IMO this looks much better.
I cropped out the little piece of road as Deidra suggested to remove the distraction from the bottom edge.
Duncan, I looked but only have this angle. Your right, your absolutely right, I need to remember to work the shot from more angles.

Allows Edits? YesGotta admit, I wasn’t expecting much from that title, but the image is a very solid one, @el-dub – nice one.

I like the dark of the original with the light on the foreground chairs which is like your main subject…the stack in the front line. The only change I might look at is cropping up from the bottom. You might not need so much dark empty space there. A dark bottom is going to add “weight” there, so you might not need all of it.

Ldenny, It bothered me that the chair backs in the rear were so much darker than the front column of chairbacks. I took the liberty of selectively lightening the rear bank of chair backs to more closely match the luminosity of the front chairs. Also,I added a touch more contrast on the rear chair backs.

Hi Gary, I like it. The difference in luminosity is from the camera so being a nature photographer, ha-ha, I left it as is.
