Tersha, If your title is true , then the clouds should be the hero of the photo.In my opinion, cropping up frpn the bottom to just below the flowers. Using a graduated filter, I have enhanced the sky just a bit. It seems me that the horizon being low in the photo makes he sky more the subject.

This is not the ST but since comments / suggestions were made: I actually love your version Tersha. I know your horizon is not on the 3rds line but it somehow pulls me stronger into the scene, making me feel that I’m right there.

Allows Edits? YesI agree with Tobie, I think the composition is great Tersha. All the lines and colours lead you to the clouds.

Tersha;
I think your composition is pretty close to perfect. Going one way or the other lessens the impact, in my opinion. Maybe enhance the clouds in post, but it stands fine as it is. I mean, this wasn’t really posted for CC, was it? 🙂

I like this very much Diane. Your composition feels fine to me. Leaning back in my chair looking at it my eyes scan from the flowers up. For me the grass at the bottom really doesn’t come into play much at all. Although to be completely wishy washy I can see Gary’s point as well. I like how the perceived leading lines of the clouds lead down to the large tree and the dip in the horizon. A very comfortable and serene landscape.
