I Reposted Part One for any New Folks and as a reminder.

A bit of Drama on the back porch, we sold 13 pups when we bred our dogs and most of the folks have stayed  in touch. A few haven’t,  one of them contacted us new years day about Guinness a two year old sable male saying he was vicious with their kids, and surrendered him to us, he has all the traits of a severely abused Dog, he doesn’t know how to play with other dogs or people, cowers and hides all the time, was very happy to get away from his owner, hiding behind me, we had this pup for 6 months before we sold him, and he remembers us. Now we need to teach him to be a dog again and rebuild his confidence, and not to be afraid. He comes from good stock though and is getting better with each new day.

        TWO WEEKS LATER
        GUINNESS SMILING 😃 😊 🙂

9 Months Later, A much more confident dog chasing Chipmunks and playing in the mud like a 10 year old boy.

He is super smart, we have had to change out door locks because he opens them and he gives you some of the most serious looks at times

And then he has one of his moments

What great color for his coat!

Some years ago we had an Aussi Shepherd named Smokey. He opened doors all the time to go in and out of rooms. If we didn’t lock the doors to the outside, I believe he’d let himself out to use the woodline, all on his own.

That was one of our requirements at the time of sale Stefanie, that they return to us if unwanted or the owners couldn’t care for them any longer.

It has truly been a God send to get him back, He really is a wonderful dog and will be a permanent part of our lives , he is very sweet and affectionate, we call him our Vicious Dog, in jest, and no one who has got to know him can understand why he was unwanted or mistreated, he is a Very Good Dog.

Some people just cannot see past their own lives to take care of another.  He is in a good place now.
