Awesome photograph, I would love to have that view in my neighborhood. Mostly swamp, bog, and, Iron ore mines here.

Thanks Michael, I’ve spent a bit of time in the swamp lands of LA, FL, and the Rice lands (Boggs) of MN. They all have their own Special Beauty. Some times I think we tend to take for granted what’s around us. You almost never see me post photos of deer, antelope, cows, ect. and I live with them daily. Also with coal, basalt, bentonite, gypsum, uranium, and a few other mines around me. And though I stare , sometimes with awe, at the sheer size and power of the equipment in these places, I don’t get the camera out. To me that’s just everyday life and who cares about that, but then people come here from other places and what do they find interesting and photograph, the things I ignore. But having said that, it’s almost impossible to ignore the Mountains, especially the Grand Tetons (The Hoary-headed Fathers), I guess that’s why its a National Park.

I love the streak of blue sky pointing straight back into the composition.
